"Stay Thirsty My
Friends"
Based on
Susan's New Year's Day sermon, one
of our resolutions at MABC is, like the Dos
Equis commercial says, to "stay thirsty"
- to ask
questions, to educate ourselves, to seek to
understand rather than be understood, and to
engage in our world. We begin 2012 by educating
ourselves about different worship experiences
and religions. Join us as we experience a
different ritual/tradition each month:
Feb. 24 Please join us for our first event
on Saturday, February 25th, when we will attend
a Sabbath service at Temple Emanu-el (www.emanuelnyc.org).
We’ll start with Torah study at 9:15 a.m., an
organ recital at 10:15 a.m., and the worship
service at 10:30 a.m. We’d like to get a head
count of those coming so we know to look for you
outside the Temple. Please contact Jacki
