Madison Avenue Baptist Church is thrilled to announce an enchanting evening of music as it proudly presents a concert featuring the remarkable soloists of its choir. Join us on November 9, 2023, at 7:30 PM, in the historic Madison Avenue Baptist Church for an unforgettable musical experience.

This extraordinary event will showcase the talents of MABC’s Choir, a group of world-class and versatile vocalists, including soprano Jenny Lindsey, mezzo-sopranos Karen Rich and Alex De Suze, tenor Richard Binder, baritone Brian Long, bass Doug Shapiro, pianist Aza Sydykov, and MABC’s Minister of Music, Education, and Cultural Affairs.

The concert’s program will encompass a diverse selection of solo and ensemble works spanning various genres and styles, featuring compositions by renowned composers such as Mozart, Rossini, Puccini, Paul Stephan, and Zach Williams.

In addition to providing an evening of outstanding music, this event also serves a philanthropic purpose. All proceeds from the concert will be directed towards supporting the International Red Cross, ensuring the continuation of their vital humanitarian mission.

Madison Sounds, our innovative music concert series, remains dedicated to fostering emerging artists by providing them with performance opportunities and valuable training experiences. This fall, we kick off the series with an exciting lineup of cultural events, as part of the church’s anniversary celebrations.
