Madison Avenue Baptist Church in collaboration with Eric Thompson Fund for the Arts and Razom for Ukraine proudly presents a special benefit music concert for Ukraine, showcasing renowned Ukrainian and international artists, uniting to provide support for the Ukrainian people, raise awareness of Ukrainian culture, and uplift the diverse Ukrainian-American community.

The event is slated for September 23, at 7:30 PM at the historic Madison Avenue Baptist Church and it will feature music works by Ukrainian, American, and Western composers.

The funds raised from the concert will be directed toward the Ukraine-focused nonprofit organization, Razom for Ukraine. This organization actively supports Ukrainians through a range of core programs, encompassing healthcare and humanitarian aid initiatives.

The organizers enthusiastically expressed their endorsement of the project:

“What we all need now – more than ever – is a way to find common ground. And, the most powerful common ground we have is the language of the human spirit as manifested through music. Let us all come together on September 23rd to experience this shared language and stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine through their music, their artists, and their cause.”
– Rev. Susan G. Sparks, Senior Pastor, Madison Avenue Baptist Church

“In these pivotal moments of Ukraine’s history, as it valiantly defends its sovereignty, freedom, and culture, I’m truly excited for the chance to make a meaningful impact and stand by the Ukrainian people. By fusing the power of music with philanthropy, I eagerly await the opportunity to join forces with both Ukrainian and international artists on September 23rd, demonstrating unwavering solidarity with Ukraine.”
– Aza Sydykov, Minister of Music, Education, and Cultural Affairs at MABC

“Enjoy a celebration of Ukrainian culture and show your support for the long-beleaguered, long-suffering people of Ukraine in their fight to persevere as a sovereign nation!”
-Eric Thompson, Eric Thompson Fund for the Arts, Founder, Kyrgyz American Foundation, Program Manager

“We are honored to partner with Madison Avenue Baptist Church and the Eric Thompson Fund for the Arts on this benefit concert, which will not only showcase the beauty of Ukrainian culture but also provide crucial resources and much-needed assistance to those affected by the ongoing war. Together, we can make a difference and stand in solidarity with Ukraine.”
– Lydia Kokolskyj, Vice President of Development at Razom for Ukraine
