Join Us in Building a Library for Children and Families 📚
Children’s Rescue Fund, a New York City nonprofit providing shelter and affordable housing, is proud to partner with the congregation of Madison Avenue Baptist Church on an exciting library build project this summer. This initiative will benefit children and families living at the Light House family shelter in Long Island City.
This new library will offer a safe, engaging space designed to foster a love of reading, learning, and creativity for young residents experiencing homelessness. Plans include new shelving, a curated book collection, and a dedicated art and creative learning station—enhancing afterschool and summer programming for children in residence.

- Volunteer to support the project
We are especially grateful for a $5,000 matching gift from the Madison Avenue Baptist Church congregation. Every dollar donated will be matched, doubling your impact and expanding access to critical educational and enrichment opportunities.
