Madison Avenue Baptist Church proudly presents The Mini Masterworks – a chamber ensemble that fights against elitism in classical music.
Madison Avenue Baptist Church proudly presents The Mini Masterworks chamber ensemble, co-founded by violinist Samuel Gray and cellist Anthime Miller, dedicated to dismantling the elitism often associated with classical music. Their mission is to bring the grandeur of traditional concert hall repertoire to unconventional venues, introducing it to new and diverse audiences.
Join us on October 14th at 7:30 PM in the historic Madison Avenue Baptist Church for a remarkable evening.
The performance will include stunning arrangements by Anthime Miller, such as Rossini’s Overture to the Barber of Seville, Berlioz’s Les nuits d’été featuring the exceptional soprano soloist Elisabeth Stevens, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3 “Eroica.”
The proceeds from this concert will go directly to support the Mini Masterworks ensemble, ensuring their continued mission.
Madison Sounds, an innovative music concert series, is committed to nurturing emerging artists by providing them with performance opportunities and valuable training experiences.
This fall, we kick off the series with a captivating lineup of cultural events as part of the church’s anniversary celebrations.
