TASTE, TALK, AND TOAST ALL EVENING!

Join us for an evening of mingling, light bites, drinks, and entertainment honoring Andy Humm, former President of New Alternatives and Co-Host of GAY USA. Led by the evening’s emcee, Pink Pancake, we invite you to celebrate our community and uplift the young adults we serve.

Four Ways to Participate and Support New Alternatives

1. Attend and Make a Gift

Join us for an evening of Caring and Sharing! A minimum gift of $50 is your ticket to attend, with higher giving levels available to provide greater support.

2. Bid in Our Online Silent Auction

Our online Silent Auction is now open.  Browse the items here, place your bids, monitor who is bidding against you, and support New Alternatives from wherever you are!

3. Become an Event Ambassador

Help spread the word! Invite your friends to join you at Caring and Sharing. Even bringing just two friends can make a difference, but there’s no obligation. We’ll provide you with an easy way to share the event by email or text with your friends and family.

Interested? Email the event committee at [email protected] to sign up. Event Ambassadors will be recognized at the event.

4. Can’t Attend? You Can Still Make a Difference

Your support matters even if you can’t join us in person. Make a donation to help New Alternatives continue its important work.

WHY YOUR SUPPORT IS NEEDED

New Alternatives helps LGBTQ+ youth and young adults experiencing homelessness transition from the shelter system to stable, independent lives through case management, meals, life skills training, educational support, HIV-related programs, and a supportive community.

In 2025, we served 363 clients — an all-time high. So far this year, we have welcomed 93 new clients and served 249 young people. The demand for our services remains significant, and meeting that need requires sustained support.

A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit our annual Santa Project, a holiday gift program for the young people we serve.
