Sunday Sermons & More

Madison Avenue Baptist Church History

If you can’t make it to MABC on Sunday, you can watch the services on our YouTube channel HERE.

Please note: As of October 2, 2022, our safety protocols will change. Masks and proof of vaccination will no longer be required to attend the service. However, MABC is a “mask friendly” church, welcoming and encouraging any who want to wear masks in the service. Masks are available to those who want one.

Other important things to know about our onsite services:

  • Hand sanitizing stations are provided in key locations.
  • QR codes to access the bulletin will be provided.
  • Limited number of paper bulletins will be provided.
  • Pew Bibles and Hymnals will be in the pews for use.
  • Hearing assistance will be available upon request.
  • Restrooms will be available for the congregation.
  • Instead of passing the plate we are encouraging you to continue giving electronically or via the wooden collection box located at the exit.
  • Instead of the traditional Passing of the Peace we will greet each other with a social distance Passing of the Peace.
  • No post church coffee hour will be offered at this time.

Bible Study

New Six-Week Bible Study Class Begins This Sunday, September 11 @ 10:00 a.m.

Scattered or Gathered – Lessons from Exile: Having been physically exiled from our faith communities during the pandemic, are there lessons we have learned that might enrich our time as we try to gather again? Can the exilic history of Israel teach us about journeying with God whether we are scattered or gathered? Can the words of the Hebrew Prophets to God’s people during their exile help us to make sense of our own? Join us for an interactive, multidisciplinary, and multimedia experience.  All are welcome!

Class Schedule

  • Sept 11: Isaiah
  • Sept 18: Jeremiah
  • Sept 25: Ezekiel
  • Oct 2: Haggai
  • Oct 9: Zechariah
  • Oct 16: Synthesis

We will meet in person in our updated tech-savvy classroom and invite our global participants to join us via Zoom.  Please check the MABC weekly eblast for Zoom connection details.
